اليوم على الساعة ١ بالليل إجاه طلب أكل

And who would be selfish enough to order food in weather like this?
بعدها قرر يسترزق
Ba’daha qarrar yistarziq
Then he decided to earn a living.
فلبس جاكيت ووتربروف والخوذة ونزل
Fa libis jakit waterproof wil-khodhe w nizil
So he put on a waterproof jacket, a helmet, and headed out.
بس مع غزارة الشتا ندم إنه طلع من البيت

الطلب صار معه

He already had the order.
وصل بيت صاحب الطلب
Wisil bet sahib it-talab
He arrived at the customer’s house.
فالشب فتحله
Fish-shabb fatahlo
The young man opened the door for him.
الشب: ادخل ادخل، يعطيك العافية وبعتذر إنك طلعت بهيك جو
Ish-shabb: Udkhul udkhul, yi’tik il-‘afye w ba’tidhir innak tili’t bhek jaww
The young man: Come in, come in. Thank you, and I’m sorry you had to come out in this weather.
أحمد دخل ونشف حاله
Ahmad dakhal w nashshaf halo
Ahmad went in and dried himself off.
وفهم من الشب إنه طالب جامعي مغترب
W fihim min ish-shabb innu talib jami’i mughtarib
And he learned that the young man was a university student living away from home.
ومن الصبح مش ماكل
W min is-subuh mish makil
And that he hadn’t eaten anything since morning.
ففهم عذره
Fa fihim ‘udhro
So he understood his reason.
