هبة بتحبّ تلبس لِبس مرتَب، بس ابداً ما كانت تتوقع إنها تصير “ترند”، هي أصلاً ما بتشتري كتير اواعي، بس بتعرف تلبّق بِطريقة حِلوة. مَرة لبست جاكيت من أيام ستي مع بنطلون واسع ونسّقَت عليهم شال برجندي، وعنجد طلع اشي سفاح ونار، في كتير بنات سألوها عن لوكها، بالبداية انبسطت، بس بعدين صارت تحسّ إنها مُراقبِة، كأنه كل لبسة وحركة مَحسوبين عليها بالملّي. مرة كانت مِستعجلة لأنها مِتأخرة على مُحاضرتها وما عبّرت حد بالطريق، صاروا كلهم يتفرجوا عليها كأنها شايفة حالها و يا ارض اشتدّي ما حدا قدّي، هاد الاشي سَببلها ضَغِط وقد ما حاولت تبيّن إنها مش مِهتمة بس الناس ما بترحم.

حزّت ببالي لما شفتهم بضحكوا على ابني.
It really got to me when I saw them making fun of my son.

زعلنا من بيت عمي وحزّ ببالنا إنهم ما عزمونا على العرس.
We were upset that they didn’t invite us to the wedding, and it stayed on our minds.

Note:
The expression usually refers to emotional hurt, disappointment,
or a thought that lingers long after the event itself.
