صحيت الصبح بكير على صوت المنبّه
Ṣiḥyit iṣ-ṣuḅuḥ bakīr ʿa ṣōt il-mnabbih
I woke up early in the morning to the sound of the alarm.
كان الجو مشمّس ودافي اليوم
Kān il-jaww mshammes w dāfi il-yōm
The weather was sunny and warm today.
لبست اواعيي
Libsit awāʿiyi
I got dressed.
بنطلون وبلوزة
Banṭalōn w blūze
Pants and a blouse.
غيّرت بالحمّام
Ghayyart bil-ḥammām
I changed in the bathroom.
روحت على المطبخ
Rūḥit ʿal-maṭbakh
I went to the kitchen.
وشربت مي
W shiribt mayy
And drank some water.
وعملت قهوة تركية
W ʿamilit qahwe turkiyye
And made Turkish coffee.
قعدت في البلكونة اشرب قهوة
Gaʿadt fil-balkōne ashrab qahwe
I sat on the balcony drinking coffee.
شغّلت موسيقى هادية
Shaghghalt mūsīqa hādiye
I played some calm music.
بعد شوي أكلت فطور خفيف
Baʿd shway akalit fṭūr khafīf
A little later, I ate a light breakfast.
جهزت حالي للشغل
Jahhazt ḥāli lish-shughl
I got myself ready for work.
اخذت شنتتي
Akhadt shantti
I took my bag.
وطلعت من البيت
W ṭiliʿt min il-bēt
And left the house.
وروحت على الشغل
W rūḥit ʿash-shughl
And went to work.
